George Gonzales

George Gonzales was born on December 4, 1929 to Jose & Elfonsita Gonzales in Capulin, Colorado.  He passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 94.  George is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years Stella Gonzales; daughter Audrey Dunn & son Arnold Gonzales.  He has seven grandchildren; Katrina Dewolf, Joshua Gonzales, Amy Pastor, Erica Gonzales, Ashley Gonzales, Dillon Gonzales & Dominic Dunn.  He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; Haley Hale, Aaliyah Hale, Peyton Gonzales, Makenzie Figard, Miles Pastor, Isaiah Dewolf, Gavin Dewolf. Greyson Dewolf & Daylon Dunn; sister in-laws Elsie Gonzales and Dora Jenco.  He was preceded in death by two sons Glen Gonzales and Keith Gonzales; 12 siblings.  He was loved by many nieces and nephews.  George loved to travel, visiting family and friends.  He loved to drive.  George loved farming and working on his land.  He owned his own upholstery shop with his wife Stella and brother and sister in-law Pete and Tillie Archuleta.  George had many friends wherever he went.  He was extremely hard working and has a thirst for learning new things.  He enjoyed telling stories, playing guitar and the harmonica.  He had a love of God and his faith.  He was a kind and gracious man. He was always helping others.  He loved his wife dearly and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday April 22, 2024 at 11am at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Twin Falls.  Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
