Florence Evelyn Anderson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great Grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home, September 3, 2011 surrounded by her family.
Florence was born in Pennock, Minnesota on March 4, 1921 to Oscar and Hulda Butler. She and her husband, George, moved to Twin Falls in 1952, where she raised her four children.
As a devoted wife and mother, Florence dedicated her life to the care and nurturing of her family. She enjoyed traveling, and after retirement she and her husband spent many years exploring the country in their RV.
Florence was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Anderson Lee and her son-in-law Donn Lipman.
Florence is survived by her husband of 71 years, George E. Anderson, her children, Larry Anderson (Dixie), Catherine Lipman, Elizabeth Summers (Dennis), ten grand children, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
The family would like to thank Corrina, Heidi, and Melissa of Idaho Home Health & Hospice, and Dr. Sara Johnson for their loving care and kindness, and who made it possible for Florence to remain in her home.
A family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
