Evelyn Lorene Rathbun

Evelyn Lorene Stokesberry Rathbun, 90 of Filer passed away on Monday April 25, 2016 at Cedar Draw Assisted Living. She was born on August 10, 1925 in LaJunta, Colorado to George and Florence Stokesberry. Evelyn married Duane Rathbun on September 5, 1943 in Filer, ID. She lived in Filer most of her life until her passing. Evelyn is preceded in death by three brothers Bob, Albert and Harold; her parents; her husband and one son Larry Gene Rathbun. She is survived by her brothers Leo and Vern Stokesberry; her children Hank Rathbun, LeRoy Rathbun and Donna Compher. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Twin Falls First Church of the Nazarene, 1231 N Washington St. with interment to follow at the Filer Cemetery. Arrangement are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
