Duane E. Plott

Duane E. Plott, son of Dale and Elverta Plott, born on March 27, 1960, in Twin Falls, ID passed away peacefully the morning of June 14, 2022, surrounded by members of his family after fighting a decade- long battle with long term chronic illness. Duane graduated from Twin Falls High School, class of 1979. After graduating high school, Duane became an entrepreneur to help support the economy of Twin Falls. First in landscaping for 4 years, then in 1983 Duane founded his own company, from the ground up as a self-taught residential and commercial painter, establishing the business of Duane’s Painting for almost 40 years. He established a connection with numerous families and businesses throughout the Twin Falls area through his painting company. Duane enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his free time hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, camping, and traveling to the Oregon coast. He shared these passions with his family. Duane is survived by his wife, Roxie, his 6 children, Jamie, Jessica, Brandi, Bryan, Jonathan and Jasper and grandfathered 13 grandchildren. His extended family includes being the nephew to Marilyn and Larry Plott, Edie and Roger Facer, Idie Wilkerson, Erma Jean and Ted. Duane was also cousin to Tony, Shelby, Stacy and Angie; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and lastly, he was the brother to his two siblings Vern Plott, married to Toni Plott and Luanne Horting, married to Jim Horting. A viewing will be provided for those who wish to bid their farewells and appreciation for Duane on June 17th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm at Rosenau Funeral Home in Twin Falls.
