Doyle Wayne Eldredge

Doyle Eldredge, deeply loved son, brother, father, and grandfather made a short journey home on September 9, 2017. He was trying hard to get back to work but God had other plans for Doyle and the called him away quickly and peacefully to shine his light in Heaven. He was born on November 20, 1957 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Burl and Betty Eldredge, the third son in a family with five children. He attended school in Kimberly, Idaho and married Linda Haas in 1976. They have one daughter, Claudia. After his first marriage ended, Doyle married Barbara Key and became the father of her three children. He worked at the Blue Lakes Trout Farm most of his life. He was currently employed as their chief mechanic and technical advisor and his knowledge and experience was an integral part of the trout farm operations. He was the last original employee of Blue Lakes Trout Farm and was currently residing on the property south of Jerome. Doyle was a dedicated outdoorsman and most of his free time was spent hunting and fishing. Throughout his life he remained courageous, determined, and independent. He was a simple man who rarely asked for help. He loved his family most of all and his dogs were beloved companions and members of his family as well. Most recently, Doyle was preceded in death by his "Uncle Boo-Boo", Alan Eldredge, but he was the first in our immediate family to pass. He was unafraid to lead the way and we thank him for his courage. He is survived by his father and mother, Burl and Betty Eldredge, his brothers, Randy Eldredge, Greg Eldredge, and Lee(Kara) Eldredge, his sister and brother-in-law and lifelong friend, George Miszczenko, his children, Claudia Eldredge, Eric Key, Nicole Key, and Laura Coelho, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and seven nephews. A viewing will be held at Rosenau Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Friday, September 22. Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, at 11:30am at Rosenau Funeral Home. All who knew and loved Doyle throughout his life are invited to attend. A reception will follow the service and interment will be at the Wendell Cemetery later in the day. Pallbearers will be Greg Eldredge, Gary Eldredge, Nick Miszczenko, Harley Eldredge, Jacob Coelho, and Garrett Eldredge. Doyle's family would like to thank University of Utah Hospital and all of the doctors and nurses for the compassionate and respectful care they provided in his most difficult time.
