Surrounded by his family, at 3:16 PM on October 5th, 2015 he received his greatest wish which was to "meet the Lord in Heaven".
Born February 16, 1930 in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania to Walter & Myrtle (Walker) Woodhall
Married to Betty Louise Clark on May 21, 1948 in San Mateo, California
He was a family centered man, that often described his wife as the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. He was very proud of their 67 years of marriage. He felt his largest accomplishment was seeing success in his children With as large as his family had become, he often joked that he should have just "joined the navy", which was his original plan, until he laid eyes on that beautiful girl.
He owned many small businesses including a successful construction company that lasted many years. He then became the Assistant Deputy Registrar for the California Contractor's State License Board, and in later years, he enjoyed his role as County Supervisor for Plumas County.
Out of all of the places that he lived, Chester, California had his heart, coming only second to his greatest desire which was Heaven.
Survived By, Wife Betty Woodhall Children: Ken Woodhall, Linda (Brian) Cattelino, TJ (Kristy) Woodhall, Nancy (Donnie) Woodhall-Newman and Jan (Randy) Ballard 11 grandchildren, 27 great grand children
He had a heart to serve others no matter the size of his home, his door was always open to family and multiple foster children, with a special place in his heart for his little hippie Lynda (Heidi) Heiden.
He talked often about his love for the lord and his biggest desire was that his family would not only join him in heaven, but would continue his legacy of sharing the message of salvation.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, October 8th at Rosenau Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories at www.rosenaufuneralhome.com
