Donald Joseph Jolovich Sr. passed away August 18, 2016 at home in Twin Falls, Idaho. Don was born March 8, 1936 on the ranch of his parents John Paul and Suzanna (Legerski) Jolovich. Don was raised on the Double QQ Ranch located in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains. Don was a ranch boy at heart, worked hard and was raised by a loving family. Don graduated from Dayton High School in Dayton, Wyoming. In the spring of 1955 Don married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Judith Billingslea on May 21, 1955; they were married for 61 years. In 1956 their first child, Dianne Elizabeth Jolovich was born, later to be followed by a sister Mary Kaye Jolovich. Don graduated from Sheridan Jr College in 1961, later graduating from the University of Wyoming in 1963. It was during the “Cold War” era that Don accepted a position with the Atomic Energy Commission. It was a job he loved and was proud to be a part of over the years. Don is survived by his wife Judy, his daughters Dianne Elizabeth Jolovich of Twin Falls, Idaho, Mary Kaye (Jolovich) Rackowitz, of Marysville, Washington. Sondra Jolovich-Motes of Ogden, UT, sons, Donald Joseph Jolovich Jr of Farmington, Conn and Amir Farhat Pannoh Jolovich of Ogden, UT. Don is also survived by his sister, Mary Adamson of Sheridan, WY, brother, Paul (Betty) Jolovich of Sheridan, WY, George (Joan) Jolovich of Washington, UT, and Edward (Calyce) Jolovich of Torrington, WY. Don was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Memorial services will be held Monday, August 22 at Rosenau Funeral Home at 11:am. Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, August 25th at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home, Twin Falls, Idaho.
