Diana E. VanHooser

Diana Van Hooser passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 16, 2011 surrounded by her friends. She was born May 16, 1925 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Diana married Bernard Campbell during WWII and came to the USA in 1946 as a GI war bride. She later married John Van Hooser. After they divorced Diana moved to Buhl, ID in 1977. Diana built the home of her dreams and moved to Twin Falls in 1979 and went to work as secretary for the Twin Falls County Commissioners and retired in 1988. Diana began working for the Elections Department and served her community until 2008. Diana had so many friends who were like family! She will be missed. Diana is survived by two daughters Janice and Beverly; one grandson; four granddaughters and three great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter Leonie Ann. A very special thanks to Hospice Visions, Karen, Sherry and Maria for their caring compassion and Kevin Rosenau of Rosenau Funeral Home for his help and support for the final arrangements. The family suggests that donations be made to your favorite charity in Diana’s name.
