Derek Chambers

Derek Zane Chambers, 41 years old, passed away unexpectedly from an automobile accident on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Derek grew up in Kankakee Illinois with his younger brother David “Jason” Chambers. His mother Starla says Derek was a beautiful baby and when she heard baby Derek cry he sounded like a beautiful baby lamb.

Derek met Kara O’Dell shortly after moving to Idaho in 2008 and they married on June 21, 2008. Derek and Kara had 2 sons, Brayden and Colton. Derek loved his sons with everything he had.

While in Idaho, Derek met Curt in June 2018, Derek has become a loyal friend and a dependable employee. Derek moved in and lived there as a son, grandson, brother, and friend.

Derek met Loni and on August 14, 2020, Leah Chambers was born. She looks and acts like a mini “D”.

Derek will be deeply missed by the many lives he has impacted and will be missed.
