Dallin Blake Bennett

August 8, 1961 — April 10, 2024

Shoshone, Idaho

Dallin Blake Bennett, 62, died peacefully at his home Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  Blake had suffered a number of physical ailments the past few years but endured them with patience and hope.

Blake was born August 8, 1961 in Logan, Utah to Linden Ross and Joan Woodward Bennett. He spent most of his youth in Michigan, moving to Utah in 1976. He grew up in a family of five rowdy boys! There were always stories of adventures, stitches and other memorable occasions. He lived in Ogden and Logan, graduating from Bonneville High School and working various jobs. Blake later moved to Idaho where he worked on a number of farms. This was a passion for him, driving big tractors and other farm equipment.

Blake was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved the scriptures and was grateful for the joy the gospel brought into his life.

Blake had a great sense of humor, always making us laugh! He enjoyed food and treats that he shouldn’t eat. He loved nature, the great outdoors and all of God’s creatures. He spent a lot of time at the bird refuge, in the mountains and watching videos of majestic animals.

In the past few years Blake had reconnected with family and enjoyed their company immensely. This family will miss him greatly! Included are his brothers, Laine (Gail) Bennett, of Roy, Utah; Shawn (Julie) Bennett of Richmond, Utah; Shane (Alyson) Bennett of Gilbert, Arizona; nephews, nieces and many friends. His parents and one brother Vince preceded him in death.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday, April 18th at the LDS church in Shoshone, Idaho from 6 to 8 pm. Blake will be buried in the family plot in Franklin, Idaho Friday, April 19th at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, please give to someone less fortunate than you, as Blake would.
