Crosby "Bryce" Biggerstaff was given the gift of life on June 7, 1940, and he went with the angels on July 11, 2018, at the age of 78, surrounded by his loving wife, Jessie, and his daughter, Vicki, as well as his sidekick, Scammers, shortly after being diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.
Bryce was a gift to Crosby and Marie Hagler Biggerstaff on that awesome June day. He was born working on the farm with his dad where he developed his "Get-R-Done" work ethic. Bryce and Crosby developed their partnership of C.C. Biggerstaff and Son managing and working on farms in Hansen, Artesian, and Murtaugh, Idaho, until 1982.
Bryce married Jessie Ellen Dean on October 8, 1959. Jessie was truly the "love of his life". They celebrated 58 years together. He adored her until he took his last breath and his soul left this earth.
Bryce bought his semi-truck after selling the farm and all equipment in 1982. Trucking was a natural step for him after farming and all of those hours in tractors and trucks. He never missed a day calling home to talk to his sweetheart. Bryce injured his back which lead to his retirement in 2003. However, he could not stay home for long, so he sought employment with Trans IV making many, many lasting friendships with fellow drivers and the clients that he transported.
To the union of Bryce and Jessie was born Debra Lynn in 1961 and Vicki Marie came along in 1965. Grandchildren followed with the first born Joshua Lynn Serr and Benjamin Curtis Hepworth in 1986. That was not quite enough, so Taylor Jenae Hepworth was born in 1990 and his last granddaughter in 1991, Shaila Marie Serr.
Bryce is survived by his wife, Jessie, daughters Debbie Serr (Stan) and Vicki Hepworth (Don Waymire). Also surviving are his grandchildren, Joshua Serr, Ben Hepworth (Sara), Taylor Hepworth (Destiny), and Shaila Serr. His greatest gifts of the last almost 11 years of his life were his 6 great-grandsons; Creed, Tripp, Cooper and Kipp Hepworth and Landen and Payten Handy. Bryce's sister, Linda Bishop, nephew Marshall Bishop (Emily) and Tiffany Bishop. Last but certainly not least, he is survived by his ever faithful sidekick, Scammers, who was by his side until his soul left this earth. He has many nieces and nephews that were very special to him also. Bryce was proceeded in death by his parents, Crosby and Marie Biggerstaff, and many relatives and great friends.
Visitation for Bryce is Monday, July 16, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and his Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday July 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. both at Rosenau Funeral Home 2826 Addison Avenue East in Twin Falls, Idaho.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The University of Utah Burn Center and St. Luke's Life Flight, both of which allowed his family to keep him on this earth since his accident in 2006. Family and friends are encouraged to share their memories at www.rosenaufuneralhome.com
