Chester Earl Suiter

May 17, 1943 — August 23, 2021

Chester (Chet) Earl Suiter, born May 17, 1943 to Joseph William Suiter and Lulu Fry, passed away August 23, 2021 at his home with his loving wife, Karyl, by his side. Chet was born in Roseburg OR, graduated from Roseburg High School in 1961, and then joined the U.S. Navy. He attended Northwest Nazarene College for a year. He married Adele Huebner in 1964. They were later divorced. Chet worked mostly in the construction industry, commercial, residential, and remodel, throughout the western states and Alaska. He had brief careers in auto, RV sales, and antique sales. In January 2007 he moved from Alaska to Twin Falls to be the construction superintendent for the Ameritel Inn. It was later that year when he met Karyl. After his retirement he and Karyl loved traveling throughout the U.S. in their travel trailer. He also enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He could make ANYTHING out of wood. His VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES INCLUDED Habitat for Humanity, building handicap ramps as needed for individuals, and doing building projects for Twin Falls Reformed Church. (TFRC) Five years ago Chet and Karyl started the Mustard Seed HOPE Ministries which provide a lunch bag for the less fortunate at the Mustard Seed lunches on Saturday. Chet was active in Young at Heart at TFRC and was on the leadership team for 7 years. Chet is survived by his wife Karyl, Children Kelli (Robert) Reeves of Woodland Park, CO, Michelle (Scott) Powers of Port Orchard, WA, Step-children Shawna Myers of Meridian, ID and Darin Meyers of Fairfield ID, brothers Glen Suiter of Spokane WA and Bill Suiter of Meridian ID, and too many grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews to mention, whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sisters Polly, Opal, and Merle, and Brothers Louie, Joe, Jim, and Sam. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 3:00pm at the Twin Falls Reformed Church.
