Chuck Williams, 77, of Twin Falls, ID passed away Monday June 29, 2015. He was born on September 7, 1937 at home in Mountain Grove, MO to Earl and Luetecha (Richards) Williams.
He lived in Missouri a very short time before moving to Idaho and attending school in Hailey, ID. He married his high school sweetheart, Remigia Ehrmantraut on March 11, 1954 in Santa Paula, CA. He started his career at the Golden Rule in Hailey and Ketchum and continued to work in the grocery business for many years. After moving to Twin Falls he worked as a produce manager for Shelby’s Market and continued on with Smith’s Food King for 45 years. He won several awards for produce displays and passed on his work ethic to his children. He bowled on Shelby’s bowling team where he brought home many trophies. Chuck enjoyed playing softball, exploring the outdoors, and yearly family vacations. He started taking Sunday drives with his parents and children, and the tradition continued with his with grandkids and great grandkids. He loved driving and taking long road trips to the coast. Family and friends will treasure their memories of road trips and adventures with him. From New Year’s through Christmas, he loved to celebrate all holidays with his family. Chuck was a gracious host and always welcomed family and friends to join in holiday celebrations. He thoroughly enjoyed attending all of his grand and great grand kids’ extracurricular activities, and would sometimes surprise us with his enthusiasm. Chuck was a very generous person and donated to various charities. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Remigia “Meegie” Williams, his children Charles Williams, Lenny Williams, Christy (Ron Elsing), Vincent (Shelly) Williams, Denise (Rick) Price, Gregg (Keri) Williams and Lila (Dave) Orton. 13 Grandkids: Lenny, Nick, Lindsey, Robyn, Chace, Ben, Brittnee, Taylor, Mindi, Shelbie, Nikole, Hailey, Brenden 8 Great grandkids: Kylun, Jaden, Eternytie, Jayden, Isabella, Isacc, Zain, and Kylie. He is also survived by nephew Danny and nieces Linda and Donna. He was proceeded in death by his parents, sisters Ina Fife, Betty Lou, and 2 infant sons. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8pm on Thursday July 2, 2015 at Rosenau Funeral Home with services to be held at 2pm on Friday, July 3 at Rosenau Funeral Home.
