Carol Edwards

Carol Jean Edwards at the age of 88 peacefully passed from this mortal life to join her Lord and Savior January 26, 2021, with family at her side. She was born January 5, 1933 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the first of three children, to Albert and Fern Kleinkopf. Carol attended several country schools graduating from the eighth grade at Berger and from Buhl High School in 1951. In 1953 she married Caroll O. Edwards. They were married for 65 years at the time of his passing in 2018. Carol Jean worked various jobs in the community, Mountain Bell in Twin Falls, Library Aide at the Washington School and at the Buhl Elementary School, finishing her working career at the CSI Library. Then spending many winters in Yuma, Arizona, enjoying times with friends in their Good Sam Blue Bird group. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Twin Falls where she taught Sunday School, was a deaconess and held many other jobs. Carol Jean was also a member of the Modern Mrs Extension Club. She is survived by her two children, Von (Debbie) Edwards of Hagerman and daughter, Cleta (Todd) Allison of Hansen, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Darlene (Jim) Lindsey, Twin Falls and Donna (Steve) Leinberger, Jerome. A celebration of Carol Jeans life will be held at a later date, to be announced, at the First Baptist Church, 910 Shoshone Street E, Twin Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
