Bud Huddleston, 80, of Twin Falls joined his Savior on March 21, 2017 at Syringa Place. He passed peacefully following a struggle with cancer. Bud was born May 18, 1936 in Filer to Henry and Ethel Huddleston. He was the youngest of ten children. Growing up he helped run the family sawmill in Filer. He then moved to Twin Falls when he married Beverly Hanson of Kimberly on August 23, 1957. They were married 55 years until her death in 2013. Together they raised four children.
He was Assistant Master Mechanic, crane operator, and welder for the Amalgamated Sugar Co. from where he retired. He enjoyed being outdoors; spending weekends camping, motorcycling, and hiking. He was a "do it yourselfer" using his spare time to build on projects in his shop or around their home. It brought him great joy to visit with people about his projects.
Bud is survived by his three daughters; Libby (Brian) Efaw, Joyce (Dub) Shawhan, and Janet (Harold) Stone grandchildren; Brett (Heather) Efaw, Kyle (Brittney) Efaw, Jesse (Gabriel) Sandoval, Corey Efaw and Dylan Shawhan great-grandchildren; Olivia and Danny Sandoval and Lacey Efaw. He is also survived by his brother George Huddleston and sister Thelma Shwartz as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings, wife Beverly, and son, Jerry.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 26 from 2-4 at Rosenau Funeral Home 2826 Addison Ave. E. Twin Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
