It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Brent Eugene Allen, 66, on February 15, 2025 in Fort Worth,Texas. Brent was a devoted son who honored his parents in thought and deed. He was a genuinely kind and caring man who was loved by all who knew him. His willingness to serve others was always a gift. He touched many lives with his goodness. He had a fun loving personality that was presented through his teasing nature. He loved surprises especially if he were the one doing the surprising. He loved cooking and trying new recipes that he was always ready to share. Brent loved the outdoors and his fishing trips with his friend, John. Brent will truly be missed by many. Brent was born June 24, 1958, to Avis L. and Ila Sudweeks Allen in Twin Falls, Idaho. He lived in Kimberly, Idaho where he attended school. His love of football continued throughout his life as he refereed for many years. Brent was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed all things associated with scouting. Brent attended the University of Utah in the Navy ROTC program his freshman year. The summer following he served six weeks on the USS Kittyhawk out of San Diego, California. Brent was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His service in the Church was only surpassed by his love for his Heavenly Father and Savior. He loved serving and held many Ward and Stake callings. Brent served a faithful honorable two year mission in the La Paz Bolivia mission. Following his mission, Brent attended BYU. He graduated from BYU with honors with an Electrical Engineering degree. He began working for General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas upon graduation, working on the systems for the F16 fighter jet.
