Bob Jenkins

Robert Lance Jenkins, 76 of Hazelton, Idaho passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 from Alzheimer’s at his home. He was born on June 25, 1944 in Bremerton, Washington. When quite young his family moved to Alaska. Bob had fond memories of the time spent there. At about age 9 the family moved back to Washington. Bob graduated from Kitsap High School in 1962. Right after graduation he joined the Navy retiring in 1982. He had many great experiences and many good friends while serving our country. After retiring from the Navy he worked for several years at various jobs then went back to work as an electrician. He was a member of the IBEW Local 449 and worked until Alzheimer’s took over his life in 2009. Bob was an avid reader and quite the rockhound. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois and one brother Art Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Penny Koloen. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
