Betty Louise (Clark) Woodhall, 93, of La Habra, California, after much anticipation and longing to go home ascended to heaven to be with Jesus at 4:30 AM on June 25th, 2023. She was born on April 13, 1930 in Willits, California to McKinley and Clarice (Shuster) Clark. She married Donald Alexander Woodhall on May 21, 1948 in San Mateo, California
Betty spent her married life doting on her husband Don, he was one spoiled man! She was very proud of their 67 years of marriage which ended when Don went to be with Jesus. Together they raised 5 kids. Her family was her pride and joy and she loved having them around her, she would light up with excitement when family would come to visit. She loved the babies and had that special “touch” being the holder of babies. She loved cooking and making grandpa’s special peanut butter fudge for her family and get-togethers always had plenty of delicious food.
Betty not only ran her home but also worked outside the home in many different businesses, many of which she and Don owned.
They owned and ran a gas station in which it wasn’t uncommon to see their 1st child as a baby in a big box sitting next to the pumps as she was pumping gas for their customers. Throughout the years they also had a drywall business, a vacation trailer rental, a paint store, a TV repair shop, a Christian Bible Bookstore, a U-Hall business and of course Rainbow Lodge which all of us have such fond memories of. In addition to all of that, she worked at a bag printing factory, drove minibus for mentally & physically challenged children and was the director of an Adult handicapped Center plus proctored exams for the Contractors' State License Board in California. As you can see she was one very versatile individual.
Betty always kept track of her kids, grandkids & great grandkids. If she didn’t hear from one of them, they would get a call and would hear, “So, What’s happening?”
Betty is survived by her children:
Linda (Brian) Cattelino, TJ (Kristy) Woodhall, Nancy (Donny) Howell-Newman, Jan (Randy) Ballard,
her Foster Daughter: Lynda (Heidi) Heiden,
9 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren.
She loved every one of them dearly and thanked God for them on a regular basis.
