Benjamin James Day passed away early in life Saturday morning, November 12th, at the age of 42. Benjamin was born Saturday, August 24, 1974, and never slowed down.
Benjamin had a zest for life; a loud infectious laugh and spoke English and Sarcasm fluently. Ben was hard working; a loving son and father; a best friend; and a brother to Bart and Barbara.
Ben was energetic, optimistic and full of life. Benjamin used his tough times in life to reach out and help others along his path of life. In the end, he paid the ultimate price protecting others.
Benjamin leaves behind the greatest loves of his life; his daughters, Rylee and Taylee Day; his mom and step-dad, Helen and Scott Flinn; his brother and his wife, Bart and Katie Day; his sister, Barbara Anne; his grandfather, Daniel Meehl; and The Schouten family – Jim, Lori, James, Crissy, Nickolle and her sons.
Benjamin is also survived by his dad; uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous family and friends whose lives will forever be impacted by his ability to laugh often, love deeply and grab life by the horns. He was preceded in death by his son, Alexzander Day.
Benjamin died so others could live. His mother asks that you go live life to the fullest so that he can live on through you.
Contributions in Helen Flinn's name can be made to any Idaho Central Credit Union for his daughters Rylee and Taylee.
Services for Ben will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Rosenau Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories at www.rosenaufuneralhome.com
