Barbara Marie Stanger, 81 of Twin Falls passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011. Barbara was born January 8, 1930 in Twin Falls to Lee and Florence Staley Stanger. She attended school through the 8th grade in Kimberly. Although she lived in California, Nevada and Texas, she always returned to Idaho. She lived out the last several years of her life in Twin Falls. Barbara loved fishing, crocheting, reading and spending many enjoyable times with family and friends in Rock Creek. Barbara is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Barbara is survived by her son Eugene McVey of Boise, sisters, Lynada Carpenter of Washington and Louise Overmyer of California, an Aunt, Ireda Heath of Kimberly, 2 uncles, Cecil Staley of California and Robert Staley of Oregon, her nieces, Wanda Place, Annie Urie, Shauna Morton and Elizabeth Livingston as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Florence and a brother Gilbert Stanger. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Rosenau Funeral Home with Bishop J. R. Stander conducting. Family will greet friends from 11-11:45 am the day of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
