Arizona Flame (Silver) Klundt passed away March 13, 2016 at Ashley Manor in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was born on April 1, 1937 to Neal and Grace Silver in Hailey, Idaho. She had two brothers Flash and Ace. She grew up riding horses and hauling milk with her dad. She loved to play fast pitch softball and rode her horse to games and practices. In 1951 Flame met George Junior Klundt. They were married May 4, 1952. Flame was 15 and George 17. Flame went on to finish high school. In 1957 they started a family and had three sons – Shane, Kody, and Waylon. Flame and George loved to go hunting and fishing, as long as dad baited the hook and took off the fish. They loved camping all over Idaho. She was a life-long bowler and bowled every Friday night. In 1955, Flame joined the Moose Lodge and became a life-long member with her husband George. They enjoyed spending time at the Lodge and had their 50th Wedding Celebration there surrounded by friends and family. In 1965, Flame went to work at Federal Land Bank as a secretary for over 30 years. She retired for a short time and went back to work at Chemical Supply. Flame and George were married 55 years as George passed away January 7, 2008. Soon after George’s death Flame retired. She lived by herself in the family home until July 14, 2014 when she moved to Ashley Manor until the time of her passing. Everyone at Ashley Manor loved Flame and took great care of her. Flame is survived by her sons Shane (Julie), Kody (Cindy), Waylon, grandchildren Travis, Teresa (Jeramy Caywood), Zack, Taviee, Preslie, Chandra and Catina and five great –grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, her two brothers Flash and Ace, and her parents Neal and Grace. We would like to thank all the staff at Ashley Manor for all the great care and love they showed Flame. The family suggests memorial be made to the Senior Centers Meal on Wheels, 530 Shoshone St. S, Twin Falls, Idaho. Viewing for Flame will be held from Noon to 1pm on Saturday, March 19th at Rosenau Funeral Home with the services beginning at 1pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
