Adrian Michael Duarte

October 10, 1999 — February 26, 2025

Adrian Michael Duarte, at the age of 25, left us unexpectedly on February 26th, 2025.

On the morning of October 10th, 1999, our beautiful boy came into the world, joining his big sister Natalia. At 8 months old, after realizing Adrian would be a redhead, and when his Abuela was told, she exclaimed, “Ay, mi tomatito, mi diablito.” He forever carried the nickname tomate. He was also affectionately called A!

As Adrian got older, he became more inquisitive, constantly investigating everything. When Natalia started preschool, she would come home and start teaching her baby brother everything she had learned, which continued as they got older. It was obvious by the time Adrian was 4 that he was ready to learn, and at 4 ½, he was enrolled in kindergarten. He always loved to learn! Adrian was easy-going and made friends easily. He loved to fish, skateboard, golf, work on cars, and spend time with family! When he was younger, he played both baseball and football, and he was good at both. One of the many treasured memories is when his little league coach let him try pitching, he did pretty good and was so excited about it. In his early 20’s, he fell in love with golf, with the hopes to one day play with his grandpa Ken. Unfortunately, he never got the chance, but with no doubt, they are golfing together in heaven now. Adrian was an avid reader in his younger years, but as he got older, his interests changed to movies and music. He had eclectic tastes in both. He truly was an old soul. Any opportunity, Adrian was always up for a debate no matter what it was about, conventional, or unconventional. Adrian lost his father at a young age and having to deal with that brought him and his sister closer.

Adrian was preceded in death by his father Sergio Duarte Lopez, his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Norma Hodges, as well as his step-grandma Dorothy Hodges, his fraternal grandparents Eduardo Duarte and Natalia Lopez, his Tia Sonia, cousin Adeline and Aunt Brandi, Kristine’s best friend, whom he had a close relationship with. He is survived by his mother Kristine White, stepfather Tim White, his best friend and sister Natalia Duarte. Adrian has a very large family and is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom he was extremely close to.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 15th, 2025, at 4pm at South Mountain Mortuary, 7007 S Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona. With a celebration of life to follow. Adrian wanted to be cremated and buried with his Papi and Abuela, which will take place in Phoenix at a later date. There will also be a memorial service on April 6th, 2025, at 3pm at Rosenau Funeral Home Community Room, 2826 Addison Ave East, Twin Falls, Idaho.
